Why we exist
There is a cause behind every case.
Cause & Case is a Section 8 non-profit. We exist so a person who cannot pay still has someone to stand with them in court. The cause is the human stake. The case is the work.
The name is the work
India promises justice. For too many people the promise stops at the first bill for a lawyer.
A right no one can afford to defend is a right that does not exist in practice.
We are not a lawyer marketplace, a discovery app, or a referral desk. We hear the cause. If it is ours, we take the case through advocates we have already chosen and verified.

How we hold a matter
We hear the cause
You tell us, in your own words, what is at stake — a person, a right, a threat. Not legal language. The reason this matter exists.
We take the case
If it meets need, vulnerability, and urgency, we assign an empaneled advocate. You do not shop for a lawyer. You are represented.
We stay with it
From intake to the courtroom, we own the process: papers, follow-up, and the hearing. A cause we accept is a case we intend to finish.
We keep it human
Technology helps us reach Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. It does not replace judgment, or the advocate standing next to you.
If this works

What we will not trade
No eligible person should lose a case because they could not buy a lawyer. That is the only test for the work we take, the partners we keep, and the files we open.
