Bail is often urgent. A hearing date moves whether or not the family has found money for counsel. People in this position usually need someone to read the FIR, the custody papers, and the last order, then to say whether a bail application can be moved.

What to have ready
If you apply, tell us who is in custody, which court or police station is involved, and the next date if you know it. FIR copies, remand orders, and earlier bail orders help after we ask for them. Do not send those papers on a public page. The application gives you a private upload link.
A relative can apply when the person in custody cannot. Give a phone number and email where we can reach you.
What we will not pretend
We cannot guarantee bail. We cannot appear tomorrow in a court we do not cover. If the desk declines the matter, that decision is final for this application. You can still approach a legal services authority or private counsel.
