What we mean by a wrongful arrest
People use these words for different facts: an arrest without the papers the law requires, detention past the time a court allowed, or custody used to pressure a family. We are not deciding your case on this page. We are describing the kind of cause the desk will read.
A false or exaggerated criminal complaint is related, but it is not the same as an illegal arrest. Tell us what happened in ordinary language. The court will use its own words later, if a case is filed.
What you should not put on the open internet
Do not post FIR numbers, Aadhaar details, medical records, or the names of complainants on social media and then link them here. The application and the private document link are the places for those papers. Public pages of this website do not list applicants or their cases.
How a request moves
You apply, we read need and urgency, and we either assign counsel or we decline. If we accept, the advocate — not this website — advises you. Until that written acceptance, there is no representation.
Common questions
- Will you publish my arrest details if I apply?
- No. Applications, phone numbers, and case papers stay on the operations side. The public website does not show a list of matters or applicants.
- Can you get someone released immediately?
- No website can do that. If we accept the matter, counsel decides what application can be moved and in which court. We may also decline.
